Massage

Robert Fiorentino, New York State licensed massage therapist, is also nationally certified in massage and further certified by James Waslaski in Orthopedic Massage, and is trained in CranioSacral Therapy by the Upledger Institute. In addition to his practice at The Spring, Robert has a private practice in Springfield Center, New York (near Cooperstown). Appointments at that location may be scheduled by calling 315.868.2119.

Orthopedic/Sports Massage offers specific techniques to ease chronic pain, prevent injuries in athletes and enhance performance. Clients are asked to wear athletic apparel as they will be active during the session.

Therapeutic Massage is used for the purpose of relaxation of mind and body, releasing muscle tension and calming the nervous system.

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle touch technique using the bones of the cranium, vertebra, and sacrum, affecting cerebral spinal fluid flow. This therapy benefits the central nervous system, which controls every system in the body. Clients wear comfortable clothing during the session.

Massage & Reiki is a deeply healing and cleansing 90-minute session that includes therapeutic massage combined with Reiki. While the recipient relaxes on a massage table, Robert Fiorentino, Licensed Massage Therapist, offers a complete therapeutic massage, relaxing the muscles, reducing bodily stress, and relieving muscle tension. At the same time, Reiki Master Patsy Scala performs the ancient healing practice of Reiki, bringing the body to a state in which deep emotional and physical healing (not necessarily curing) can take place. The Spring is one of the few places that provides this dual service.
