Reiki

Reiki is an ancient healing practice that relieves or eliminates blockages on physical, emotional and mental levels. It is through clearing of blocks that the body temple can be brought into balance and heal itself. Reiki works to heal the underlying causes of imbalances or dis-ease in a person and can eliminate their effects or symptoms. Healing always occurs after a Reiki treatment; however, it may be healing on an inner level rather than on outer physical levels. Sometimes there is a cure, but there is always a sense of the healing presence of balance, harmony and peace. This practice is recognized by many physicians, and is used by many members of the medical and nursing staffs at Crouse Hospital, and at many other hospitals. Each Reiki session lasts for approximately one hour.

Patsy Scala has been a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiko Ryoho Method of Reiki Healing since 2003. This system of Reiki is based on the Usui System of Natural Heling, rediscovered by Du. Mikao Usui in the late 1800's, through the study of the sacred Sutras in Japan, and is the same basic system used by the Lamas of ancient Tibet.

Patsy also offers intuitive readings in addition to, or in combination with, Reiki.

Massage & Reiki is a deeply healing and cleansing 90-minute session that includes therapeutic massage combined with Reiki. While the recipient relaxes on a massage table, Robert Fiorentino, Licensed Massage Therapist, offers a complete therapeutic massage, relaxing the muscles, reducing bodily stress, and relieving muscle tension. At the same time, Reiki Master Patsy Scala performs the ancient healing practice of Reiki, bringing the body to a state in which deep emotional and physical healing (not necessarily curing) can take place. The Spring is one of the few places that provides this dual service.
